Football tournaments held through the holidays for Maidstone youngsters - Tue 29th July, Tue 5th Aug, Mon 11th Aug, Tue 19 Aug, Tue 26th Aug and Tue 2nd Sep.

  ‘Have fun, but stay safe' This message from Maidstone police officers as they help to run football tournaments throughout the holidays for youngsters in and around the County Town.
The 7-a-side football tournament aimed at youngsters from ages 10 - 18 is being run on at the Astro turf pitches in Armstrong Road from 10am every week while kids are off school to keep them busy and encourage them to be active.
PCSO Neil Lettington who helped to organise the matches comments: ‘Following on from the success of recent tournaments held over the past few months, we decided to make it a more permanent fixture by holding weekly matches over the summer holidays. Hopefully this will give youngsters who are off school the opportunity to have fun and get fit at the same time. I would also like to thank Maidstone Hockey Club who have been generous enough to lend us the grounds for free and the YMCA who are also helping to organise the event."
The matches are being held on Tue 29th July, Tue 5th Aug, Mon 11th Aug, Tue 19 Aug, Tue 26th Aug and Tue 2nd Sep.
