Acorn farm is a 4 hectare urban farm which is open to the public 7 days per week, with attractions including a wide range of farm animals (which can be hand fed with special food bought from the shop), an animal petting pavilion, a working goat dairy, garden centre, a short woodland walk and two children’s play areas. http://www.acornfarm.co.uk/

The farm holds horse riding lessons for people with disabilities on Friday mornings for visitors. Horse rides are also available every afternoon during the school holidays, Saturday and Sundays, and bank holidays throughout the year.
Acorn Farm also provide guided tours for large parties, a wide range of day time activities for people with special needs and an “Animobile” (mobile farm unit) available for hire to visit schools or groups.

Facilities include the farm shop which sells home produced goods such as free range meat, eggs and home made ice cream. It also sells souvenirs, sweets and drinks.
