Lincoln Markets

Lincoln currently has two daily markets (Monday-Saturday) in the city centre; the Cornhill and Central Markets, located on Cornhill and City Square by the popular Sincil Street shopping area. Wednesdays are traditional half-day closing days.

The indoor Central Market offers crockery, clothes, dried herbs, fruits and nuts, handbags, books and lots more for the home and for personal use.

The Cornhill Market offers fresh fruit and vegetables, jewellery, greetings cards and lots more.

Farmers Markets
Lincoln comes alive in all quarters of the city when the farmer's markets come to town! The Farmers Markets are run by the Lincolnshire Farmers Group. The markets give people the opportunity to buy locally produced products direct from Lincolnshire farmers.

Produce includes free range beef, lamb, pork and poultry, speciality cheese, ostrich meat, eggs, venison, fruit, vegetables, organic produce, fresh herbs, ice cream, yoghurt and home made cakes. At the Lincolnshire Farmers Markets, an emphasis is put on Quality and Freshness direct from the Farm.

Give your senses a real treat by trying and buying some fresh Lincolnshire produce at these great markets!
The Farmers Markets are held in the following locations:
City Square - first Friday of every month
The Cornhill - second Thursday of the month 
Castle Hill - third Saturday of the month

Continental Markets
Locals and visitors alike can experience a sensational shopping opportunity and can "Shop Around Europe" when Lincoln City Centre comes alive with the fantastic, sizzling Continental Markets, which take place twice yearly. Traders from Spain, Germany, France, Belgium, Italy and Holland will provide a real "Taste of Europe" in the very heart of the city.

Look out for the fabulous Lincoln Sausage Festival - taking place in the Autumn each year.
