Beat surgeries are due to held for residents in Newtown Linford and Rothley this month. PC Steve Rhodes and PCSO Alex Foster will be holding a surgery on Sunday May 18, 2008 between 10am and 2pm in the car park at Bradgate Park in Newtown Linford. Members of Charnwood Borough Council will also be present with their crime prevention trailer. A surgery will also be held on Wednesday May 21, 2008 at Rothley library on Mountsorrel Lane between 2pm and 4pm with PC Rhodes and PCSO Foster.
PC Steve Rhodes, from Charnwood local policing unit said: "We hope these surgeries will give the local community an opportunity to meet and speak to me and PCSO Foster regarding any local issues or concerns they have. "We're hoping to meet and chat with as many residents as possible and also happy to offer any crime prevention advice."
