Beat surgeries for residents in North Braunstone - 15-05-2008

Residents in North Braunstone are being invited to meet two of their local neighbourhood officers.

PC James Stevens and PC Tim Oliver will be holding beat surgeries on the following dates:

  • Thursday May 22 between 11am and 2pm at Meynells Gorse Travellers Site.
  • Friday May 23 between 9am and 12noon at Surestart on Gallards Hill.

The officers will be available to chat with residents about any policing concerns they may have and to offer crime prevention advice.

PC James Stevens said: "The neighbourhood team is currently working on three priorities for the area. These are to reduce vehicle crime and anti-social behaviour in Hand Avenue and to tackle underage drinking and anti-social behaviour in Highway Spinney and Thornton Close.

"We hope these beat surgeries are an opportunity for us to update residents on the progress we are making and to hear of any other local issues affecting the community."

To leave a message for a member of the North Braunstone neighbourhood team, call Leicestershire Constabulary on 0116 222 2222. Follow the instructions to leave a message and when prompted key in the voicemail number 9091.
