First Mini Monster is a series of events across Britain aimed at getting
families and groups of friends together to enjoy a sporting day out and help
raise money for Save the Children.


Sign up your team of four- and get training for the First Mini Monster run
and bike relay. Each team member completes one bike or one run section of
the course. If you can't find a team of four, team members can do more than
one section each. This type of a duathlon event is innovative and the format
allows all ages to take part regardless of fitness or experience.


The First Mini Monster event takes place at Roundhay Park, 25th May.


Family and friends race: This race is open to anybody, regardless of age or
level of fitness. As an adult - enter a group of four and enjoy your first
duathlon relay. As a family enters with your kids - get the family training
and competing together. Enter a team of four and decide which leg each
member will compete. There are two 1.5k runs and two 5km bikes to complete.

Family run sections are 1.5k (1,500m)


Family bike sections are 5k (5,000m)


Adult Race: This race is for over 16's only. It consists of two 3km runs and
two 10km bike sections. Enter a team of four and decide which section each
member will complete. Participants will need a reasonable level of fitness
to take part.

Adult run sections are 3k (3,000m) 2 sections of 1.5k


Adult bike sections are 10k (10,000m) 2 sections of 5k.
