An agricultural show in Gloucestershire has been cancelled as a result of the wet weather across the county. Organisers decided to call off the Moreton-in-Marsh show as the ground was too wet to allow vehicles and people on to it. Water levels on the River Severn are expected to peak on Sunday. Weather experts said that in the last few days the county had had more than the expected rainfall for all of September. On Thursday, fire crews and council workers were called to homes in Lydney's Lakeside Avenue following flash flooding; and Robinswood Primary School in Gloucester has been closed due to the bad weather.
