Members of the community in Tredworth are invited to celebrate the £95,000 regeneration of Parry Field at a massive fun day being held on Saturday July 26. The event, organised by Community Counts, will take place between 12 and 4pm at Parry Field where money has been spent to install new play equipment for the community. The event is being supported by many other agencies including the Barton, Tredworth and White City Safer Community Team, the Matson and Linden Safer Community Team, the Youth Service, Gloucester City Homes and Brighter Futures. The Safer Community Teams from Barton Street will be providing a safer cycling stand where they will be fitting free cycle lights, carrying out free security coding, safety checking the bikes and providing residents with safer cycling information. Police Community Support Officers from the Matson and Linden SCT will also be running a tag rugby game at the event for members of the community. http://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/ |
