The dental centre at Linburn Road in Dunfermline is planned to open at the end of July. This six surgery, purpose-built unit will provide NHS dental services for the Dunfermline area. Patients will be seen by an NHS Fife dentist and normal NHS charges will apply. The centre has been designed around a modern theme to reflect its surroundings and the interior maximises the use of natural light and ventilation to enhance the patient experience. There will be a phased opening of the dental services in the unit and recruitment is well under way to attract a large dental team to this exciting and modern development. Three other dental centres will open in Fife during 2008. They are currently under construction and are located in Cowdenbeath, Cupar and Leslie.
