Crack House Closure Order granted on Grayshott premises - 03-07-2008
|
Officers from the North and East OCU Safer Streets Team have closed a house in Grayshott after a crack house closure order was granted by Aldershot magistrates under the Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003.
The order for Flat 2, RACS, Headley Road, was granted on Wednesday, July 2 and lasts for three months.
During this time, no-one can enter the property and it is a criminal offence for anyone to enter the flat unless authorised by police.
Whitehill Safer Neighbourhoods Sergeant, Phil Shore, said: "We are working hard to tackle local issues, including anti-social behaviour and drug-related issues.
"This closure would not have been possible without the help of local residents and this proves that by working together we can make our communities safer places to live, work and visit.
"I would urge anyone with any concerns about this type of activity in their area to contact their local Safer Neighbourhoods Team in confidence." News Source: http://www.hampshire.police.uk |
