Exeter News - My Neighbourhood Exwick Meeting - 13-09-2008

My Neighbourhood Exwick Meeting Media Release 12 September 2008 People in Exwick will have a chance to find out how community cash is being spent in their area on Tuesday (16 September).
Residents are invited to the My Neighbourhood meeting at 7pm at Redhills School, to find out about projects that have received funding in the Exwick area, about proposals for new initiatives, and to put forward ideas for further funding. Residents will also have an opportunity to raise concerns about their neighbourhood with their local councillors and community police team.
The City Council have been holding My Neighbourhood meetings in Exwick, St David's, Newtown/Polsloe and Digby since September 2007.
The meetings decide on the use of small grants for local initiatives to improve the neighbourhood. Each area has an initial budget of £5000.
There are also meetings taking place in the St David's area at the Great Western Hotel on Tuesday 23 September at 7pm and the Salvation Army, Friars Gate on Thursday 25 September at 7pm. |
