SmartNet Essex celebrated their 1st anniversary last month, with members meeting at The Kings Oak for a buffet lunch and glass of wine.  The group provides a lively and dynamic environment for local small business owners to network. They meet once a month and have a varied mix of attendees from photographers to beauty therapists. Paula Francis, one of the SNE founders, said that 'The aim of the group is to support its members whether they are start-ups or have been established for 20 years. We also encourage them to share their skills set with each other. This dual approach results in not only an increase level of business knowledge, but gives our members the opportunity to promote their products and services'.
