Peacock House

We pride ourselves on offering a high standard of accommodation our guests and also the opportunity to share in the friendly relaxed atmosphere of our home. Peacock House is a warm, comfortable former farmhouse. The oldest part of the house dates back to the Tudor period still with the original beams. Its rural location offers tranquillity and numerous walking opportunities.

Dereham is a bustling market town with a good supply of shops and places to eat as well as a beautiful historic church. There are a number of village pubs close by, which all do good evening meals or light snacks.

Yaxham Mill

The present Mill Tower was built in 1860 for the owner William Critoph. At a height of 48 feet with 6 stories and four double suttered sails, the Mill Tower was a spectacular sight when tarred and freshly painted. Originally it is thought that there were 3 Mills on the present site. In 1810 a post Mill was built and out houses was also extended as the Mill grew with prosperity.

Bartles lodge

Bartles Lodge is a beautiful holiday spot in the heart of the Norfolk countryside perfect for fishing, relaxing, and exploring our lovely county.

You'll find Bartles Lodge in the tiny, sleepy village of Elsing, just a few miles from the busy market town of Dereham.  The Lodge provides comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in our newly converted stables, surrounded by 11 acres of beautiful grounds. What's more for those with caravans we have a C L Touring Caravan site.

Our setting is ideal for the fishing enthusiast as we have three well stocked fishing lakes. It is also the ideal base from which to explore all that Norfolk has to offer - from the Norfolk broads to the north Norfolk coast.

Carrick's at Castle Farm

Carrick's guest house is set in within beautiful gardens on the banks of the River Wensum where the peace and quiet is only interrupted by the bird song. Old Hall Lodge

Old Hall Lodge is a recent conversion of barns dating from 1803. It lies up a sleepy country lane & is surrounded by farmland. You are more likely to encounter deer, owls, hares & rabbits than people. The guest rooms are all at ground level. They are furnished with care & to a high standard.
