Officers to hold Crime Reduction Awareness Event in Sinfin neighbourhood - 22-08-2008

A Crime Reduction Awareness event is being held in Sinfin on Friday, August 29.
 
It takes place between 10am and 2.30pm at Sinfin Moor Social Club, Arleston Lane.
 
The event is being hosted by Sinfin Safer Neighbourhood Team and is open tolocal residents and businesses in the area.
 
Various partner agencies, which make up the neighbourhood team, will be in attendance to deliver talks and demonstrations.
 
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service, Neighbourhood Watch and members of the Community Safety Partnership as well as PCs and PCSOs will be on hand to talk about personal and home safety and security.
 
Sgt Fiona Kilgour, who manages the Sinfin Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: "This is a great opportunity for members of the local community to come and meet their police officers and the partner agencies who work collectively together as the Sinfin Safer Neighbourhood Team.
 
"There will be a variety of people to talk to about safety issues and information and advice will be available for those who have concerns or worries about personal safety or home security."
