How do you feel when you receive a treat?

For instance a new hair do/makeover? A day out? A nice meal? A gift you've wanted for a while? Or a chance to meet someone famous?

For many people with life debilitating illnesses, treats are something that very rarely come about. Time, money and effort are put into day to day living.

Me & Dee is a wonderful charity which provides treats for people with life debilitating illnesses, giving special moments when time is precious. The charity provides the treats by continually fundraising and needs the support to continue its outstanding work.

What are you doing on Sunday 14^th September?

Me & Dee is holding a charity fun run/walk at Rosliston Forestry Centre (Burton Road, Rosliston, Derbyshire DE12 8JX) starting at 10amThere will be a 5km fun run/walk and also a 1.23km accessible route for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Not only will there be the fun run/walk but also a variety of things to amuse you, adventure playgrounds, face painting, craft shops, picnic areas and a cafe

The entry fee is £5.00 per adult, £2.00 per child (under 5's free)

No unaccompanied under 16's and car parking is £1.50

Alternatively you can enter for free if you are participating in the fun run/walk with a minimum of £5.00 sponsorship.You can get a sponsorship form for the fun run/walk from:

Alternatively you can register on the day between 9.15am and 10.00am. Why not make it a family day out or complete the fun run/walk as a group and dress up?
And finally...Please invite all of your family and friends to this event both verbally and via Facebook (you can do this by clicking on ‘share' and then enter the names of your friends) spread the word and help us treat more people.
