Acceptable Behaviour Contracts introduced in Clowne - 13-07-2008
|
Safer Neighbourhood team members are working with local schools, Community Action Network Rangers and Bolsover District Council to tackle anti-social behaviour. Clowne Safer Neighbourhood Team took part in the Clowne Area Partnership meeting, where the issue of anti-social behaviour in the area was raised. As a result, the team, schools and council will work together to introduce Acceptable Behaviour Contracts. The contracts are an agreement between offenders, the police and an appropriate adult if necessary, outlining how the offender should behave. PC Jason Graham said: "By teaming up with the schools, council and parents on this, we can work to resolve issues young people may be having and in turn hopefully cut anti-social and nuisance behaviour."
