Chesterfield's Careline wins quality accreditation - 13-07-2008

Chesterfield Borough Council's Careline service has become the first in the area to receive independent recognition of the quality of its operation.

 The accreditation for alarm call handling and installation was awarded after a comprehensive, independent inspection of the Careline Service which provides community alarms and Mobile Warden response to almost 4,000 households across the Borough.
Local MP Paul Holmes presented the Telecare Services Award to staff at Chesterfield Careline. 
Cllr Tony Rogers, the Borough's Lead Member for Homes and Neighbourhoods, said: "We are proud to have one of the finest Careline and Mobile Warden services and pleased to be the first council in the north east Derbyshire area to receive this accreditation".
"It means that our service users can be even more reassured of the quality of our services; Careline provides a vital lifeline for older and disabled residents".
The Careline Service provides peace of mind for clients and their families and provides back-up 24 hours a day, every day.
