Your friend and mine Ivan Brackenbury is Hospital Radioʼs flagship presenter. The self named Cheerful Earful is also the self proclaimed saviour of Hospital Radio. Ivan returns to his home town, the place it all started, where he is still probably the highest profile personality across all the hospitals of Chesterfield, except when Bernie Clifton comes in for his cortisone injections.

Ivan Brackenburyʼs regular request and chat show Disease-Hour is broadcast each and ever day to the ill and captures the fun and excitement youʼd expect from being in hospital with games, giveaways, patientsʼ requests and Ivanʼs special blend of music and chat. Ivan is taking his hospital radio show on the road and will be broadcasting, live, back to the patients, while you sit back and enjoy it in the comfort of the Winding Wheel.
