Speaking to journalists during his visit with Lord Darzi, the PM said that healthcare was "a moral right secured for all" and that now was the right time to look at renewing the NHS for the 21st century. He said: "We need a more personalised NHS, responsive to each of us as individuals, focused on prevention, better equipped to keep us healthy and capable of giving us real control and real choices over our care and our lives." Lord Ara Darzi's Next Stage Review of the NHS, entitled High quality care for all, outlines the need to give control over services to frontline staff if the NHS is to improve standards. Mr Brown said the review highlighted a "tremendous opportunity to build an NHS which provides truly world-class services for all". Established in 2006, Leatherhead Community Hospital is part of Central Surrey Health - a not-for-profit organisation which provides provide ongoing support to its local communities.
