Tesco robbery: man remanded - 13-10-2008

A 31 man was remanded in custody by Brighton Magistrates on Friday, charged with robbery and possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The charges relate to the armed robbery which took place outside Tesco in Church Road, Hove, on Saturday 27 September. Following his arrest on Thursday, he was charged overnight and appeared in court today, where he was remanded in custody until 23 December.
