Body found in Chichester canal - 04-09-2008

Following reports of a body being seen in a canal in Chichester city centre at around 11am Wednesday September 3rd, police officers attended the scene and found what appeared to be a body in the water. A specialist dive unit subsequently attended and recovered the body of a man from the water.

This enquiry is at a very early stage and no further information will be released for the time being.
