Appeal for witnesses after refuse operative dies in Southwater - 15-05-2008

At about 9.20am today (Thursday 15th May) a refuse collection vehicle was in collision with a refuse operative in Andrew's Road, Southwater. Tragically the operative, a Horsham man in his 30s, died at the scene.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or the operatives in Horsham this morning to contact Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999 quoting Operation Hatch.
