Appeal after cyclist is injured in Bognor - 15-05-2008

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and a pedal cyclist in Bognor Regis yesterday (Tuesday 13th April).

The incident took place in the High Street at about 11.45am when the cyclist, a 22 year old French National who is currently on holiday in the UK, was in collision with a silver Ford car being driven by a local resident. The cyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital in Chichester.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the incident to contact PC Dixon, Chichester Roads Policing Unit, on 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 655 of May 13th.
