Brighton & Hove libraries are hosting free workshops, talks and taster sessions for Adult Learners' Week (17-23 May). Councillor David Smith, chairman of the culture, recreation & tourism committee, says: "Whether you're a silver surfer, a budding writer, or fascinated by rare books, there's something for everyone. The sessions offer a way of dipping your toes into a subject, as well as picking up useful information about courses, CVs and how to use the internet."
