Talks due with striking council staff - 17-07-2008

Future pay talks with striking public service workers are on the cards, according to a local Northern Ireland councils` representative.

NIPSA's general secretary, John Corey said he was aware of proposed negotiations for next year.

Refuse workers, leisure centre workers and librarians are among those on picket lines, though the level of disruption has varied across councils.
