Vehicle sought by detectives investigating Dummer body discovery - 17-05-2008

Detectives investigating the discovery of a woman's burnt body in Dummer, Hampshire on Thursday, May 8 have released details of a vehicle they are urgently trying to trace.

The car is a green or blue Vauxhall Cavalier, registration number L237 RWJ and is believed to be in the London area. The photograph on the right is a similar vehicle.

Detectives urgently need to find the vehicle as it could hold vital information linked to the investigation.

Officers want to hear from anyone who may have seen this vehicle since Monday, May 5 or knows of its whereabouts.

They also want to speak to anyone who may have bought the vehicle, either as a private sale, as a part exchange or for scrap.

A 27-year-old man from London has been arrested by police in connection with this investigation and is currently in police custody.
