Barnet Museum, 31 Wood Street, Barnet, Herts. EN5 4BE

Barnet Museum was opened in 1938 to house the collection of the Barnet & District Local History Society.  It contains archives, objects, prints, photographs, paintings and maps reflecting the development of Barnet and the surrounding area, as well as an extensive collection of period costumes and domestic items. A new display on the Battle of Barnet is currently being prepared.

Church Farmhouse Museum, Greyhound Hill, Hendon, London, NW4 4JR

The Church Farmhouse Museum is a handsome Grade 2 listed building dating from the mid-seventeenth century and has regular exhibitions throughout the year.

RAF Museum London, Grahame Park Way, London, NW9 5LL

Situated on the historic site of London Aerodrome at Hendon, the museum houses over 100 aircraft from around the world from some of the very earliest  through to the latest modern day jets. With free admission plus free interactive and fun activities, including 3D Cinema and Our Finest Hour, it offers an entertaining and educational day out for all the family only 30 minutes from Central London.
