Aberdeen Beach
The beautiful Aberdeen beach famous for its golden sand is one of the prime tourist attractions in Aberdeen.
There are distinctive walls placed in Aberdeen beach to help maintain the sand in place as the Aberdeen beach suffers from high levels of erosion.
Thanks to the recent million pound operation to replace the lost sand which was carried out by spraying the beach with the sand taken by ship from the southern coast of Aberdeen.
The beach boasts its popularity not just because of the walkers, joggers and surfers, but also because of the restaurants, cafes, cineworld cinema, Codonas amusement park and the grassy park area next to the beach, called the Queens Links, which includes a public golf course.
