• No aircon!

  "04/06/09 I've been a member of David Lloyd High Wycombe for over a year although my attendance hasn't been religious! The staff are very friendly and helpful, there are great classes although most are during the day as this gym seems to be for those 'ladies that lunch'. The equipment is varied and well maintained although my boyfriend moans that the weights aren't heavy enough. I just have one problem which is the aircon. Previously I was told it was so hot because of the heated swimming pool, the ceiling is open and can be seen from the gym allowing the heat to rise. However I've recently been told that only 2 aircon units have been working for the past year, which have now failed. This means I haven't been able to go during the very hot days as it's stifling and the feedback from the staff member indicated that it would cost too much money to fix. With membership costing upwards of £60 I would have thought the comfort of the members would be paramount. Aside from that there are wonderful spa facilites and tennis courts. Once the aircon is fixed this club would get a 10/10 from me! "
