The Harbour BNI Chapter is based in Shoreham-By-Sea, West Sussex and has twenty members from Worthing, Shoreham and elsewhere in West Sussex.

The principle of BNI is that every member supports the other members in identifying potential business. This means every member of the BNI has up to 17 free sales people actively selling their product. Members come from a variety of different industries and range from Business Owners to Account Managers.

BNI is a 21 year old business and professional organisation that allows only one person from each trade or profession to join a chapter.
With over 5,010 active chapters, and 84,000 members, it is the most successful business referral organisation in the world.

The Harbour BNI Group is currently passing 60-70 business referrals every month across our 17 members. Our aim is to increase to a maximum of 40 members, passing an average of 150 referrals per month.

Belonging to BNI is like having a strong sales force working for you, because all the other members carry copies of your card to give to potential customers. When they meet someone new that could use your products or services they hand out your card and personally recommend your services.

Good Referrals offer the opportunity to do business with someone who is in the market to buy your product or service. Although not a guaranteed sale, a good referral is an open door to discuss your business with someone who is interested in your product or service. Each member knows many other people and this extended network is a rich database of potential business available to members of BNI.

Word Of Mouth is the most effective form of advertising possible. BNI provides a structured environment for the development and exchange of quality referrals. The average chapter of 40 members gives over 60 referrals per month to its members. Harbour BNI although smaller than the average group, manage an average of 64 referrals each month.

BNI provides a structured and supportive system of giving and receiving business by providing an environment in which you develop personal relationships with dozens of other qualified business professionals.
