Fantastic Children's Zoo Experience
Children love this indoor Children's Zoo Experience. Get involved in our animal encounter shows and learn more about and even touch various animals. You can also participate in feeding some of the animals and fish. This is hands on and interactive, which is why children love it so much.
What is a Tropical Zoo?
Our animals are normally found in the tropics, so our entire Zoo is indoors and heated to tropical temperatures. We have a great range of animals including crocodiles, tarantulas, piranahs and snakes. Read more about our tropical animals on our website.

Our Favourite London Indoor Children’s Zoo!!
"Stroking a baby nile crocodile, feeding the world\'s largest piranahs, getting to see scorpions, snakes, an iguana and tarantulas up close- now that is what I call a fantastic family outing!! The London Tropical Zoo has to be one of my top 10 things to do in London! My children haven\'t stopped chatting about what they saw and did!! It was absolutely brilliant.What appealed most to me was that it was indoors and heated to tropical temperatures. Which meant we could peal off 3 of the 4 layers of clothing and enjoy a fantastic afternoon in short sleeve tops.
The animal interactions were the part that was the most exciting. For just 25p per cup we got fish food and spent at least an hour wandering around feeding the freshwater turtles (terrapins), some of the smaller fish and the Koi - which will even eat the food out of your hand if you do it just right. We then went up into an elevated area where we could throw food into the tank for the world\'s largest piranahs.
I just wish I had heard about this place years ago!! I will certainly be visiting there again quite soon!"
