Metamorphic Technique

A session usually lasts for about 30 minutes to an hour. The client removes their shoes and socks and can be either sitting or lying down. The technique uses a light touch on the spinal reflex points in the feet, hands and head.  Most people find sessions very pleasant and relaxing and is an ideal relaxing treatment for helping with stressful times of life like career changes, moving house, bereavement or illness.

Aqua Detox is a device promoted for use in detoxification and involves soaking an individual's feet in a saline bath through which an electrical current is passed. The Aqua Detox system produces positive and negative ions that "resonate through the body and stimulates the cells within it", this 'rebalances' cellular energy, allowing efficient performance and excretion of toxins that have accumulated within the tissues and compliments other therapies wonderfully.

Reiki

In a typical Reiki treatment the practitioner asks the recipient to lie down and relax. Loose, comfortable clothing is usually worn during the treatment. The treatment proceeds with the practitioner placing his/her hands on, or just above the recipient in various positions. The hands are usually kept still for 3 to 5 minutes before moving to the next position. Overall, the hand positions usually give a general coverage of the head, the front and back of the torso, the knees and feet. Between 12 and 20 positions are used, leaving the client with a feeling of deep relaxation & well being.

A ten minute session is a great compliment to any of our other treatments to help encourage self healing.

Indian Head Massage

Indian head massage is a therapy in which the head, neck and face and facial areas are massaged with the purpose of manipulating energy channels. The whole experience is pleasant & relaxing & helps remove toxins from tense muscles which helps the client relax & de-stress whilst promoting general well being.

Hopi Ear Candles

A Hopi ear candle is actually a cotton tube, impregnated with beeswax, honey and therapeutic oils, that is painlessly inserted into the ear to draw out impurities, relieve pressure in the head and sinuses, and aid hearing problems.

The candles are made from natural ingredients that include sage, St John's wort, camomile and beta-carotene. Otherwise known as thermo-auricular therapy, the original source of the technique seems to be from medical ceremonies performed by a native American Indian tribe called the Hopis.
When lit, the ear candle generates a gentle heat which, when combined with the therapeutic oils, produces a light suction action this draws impurities gently to the surface, where they can be removed. This treatment, which dates back as far as 2500BC is ideal for relieving snoring, compacted or excessive earwax, tinnitus, sinus problems and vertigo.

Crystal Healing

Throughout the ages it is believed that crystals can act as amplifiers of spiritual energies and can be used to help natural healers to extend and enhance their natural healing energy.

Different crystals have different properties that can focus particular forms of healing energy. Carrying a crystal will also enhance you of your self-healing abilities and specific crystals may help you to overcome specific complaints.

Hot Stone Massage

A hot stone massage uses stones, sometimes heated, to massage the body. The hardness of the stones allows the therapist to address specific problem areas with more detailed work or deeper pressure. Basalt stones of various sizes, shapes and weights are used throughout and heated in water.
This has very positive effects of increasing circulation, metabolism & Lymphatic circulation as well as deeply relaxing the muscles.
