The Soul Vibe Train is a Wolverhampton and West midlands based entertainment group. Offering Soul music, Soul entertainment, Wedding entertainment, Party entertainment and motown music. No event too large or small.

Lead vocalist Donchez.D. formed Soul Vibe Train in 1991 with a specific goal in mind, to achieve "that old sweet sound" and share vibe, directly from all those original Classic Soul Hits.A Ten-piece Soul band made up from the highest quality musicians, comprising:

Press Review at showcall 2004, "There is nothing like a big band to put an audience in the mood for entertainment, even the hard-bitten,eagle-eyed watchers at the Showcall got the Vibe. Soul Vibe Train, a ten-piece comprising both black and white musicians and singers, was therefore perfect for the occasion with its non-stop-medley of soul classics from the lead and two backing vocalists and a tight assembly of seven instruments, the energy was felt by all "Herrol Dacres/alias, Donchez D was born in Nottingham, England and was taken to Jamaica at the tender age of three. He returned to England at the age of eighteen to live in Wolverhampton where he currently resides.

"I have been in the music business since 1980, as a Solo Artist. And I have had a few record deals and completed two albums. Music has always been my inspiration.

As a singer song writer of many styles, I was always singing and making up my own songs. Most of my early songs were predominately reggae influenced coming from a Jamaican background." It was a natural progression going into Soul music having always performed with such energy to the point of almost loosing it, which at the time I did not understand. At the end of performances the audience always said to me, ‘you remind me of a young James Brown, Wilson Picket, Jackie Wilson, Sam & Dave, Otis Redding’. I got very curious and decided to research into these legends that people were comparing me to. After watching the footages of these great soul legends I realised I was going through similar emotional feelings as the masters of soul. When I am singing I feel so good and everyone around me always seems to pickup on that vibe which puts me into a zone. ‘The movements, the raw energetic vibes are not manufactured, they come from within.’ I guest that’s why it’s called, ‘Soul Music’.
