About me:

I have driven more than 800,000 miles. Most of this driving has been long distance on the motorway.
After a sales career, I spent 10 years teaching in Secondary schools until May 2007.
I have 2 teenage youngsters, one learning to drive.
I have helped run a small youth group of 13 to 18 year olds for over 15 years.

The Car:

This is a Ford Focus with manual gearbox and 1.6litre petrol engine. The AA renew the vehicle every 6 months from new so you will not drive a car that is more than 6 months old. The same car is available for your test.

The service:

You will get my undivided attention for the full period of your lesson. You can choose where you are collected, from home, college, school or from work. I am a fully qualified instructor with a DSA green badge. Your lessons will depend on your previous experience and skill and the speed with which you are able to learn to drive safely. Lesson will be tailored to your requirements and will usually last for an hour, an hour and a half or two hours. You will have access to the AA Way, a multimedia presentation to help you learn to drive.
Payment can by cash or cheque to myself or by credit/ debit card to the AA. Discounts are available for block bookings and a FREE lesson offered if you refer another person who takes up lessons with me. I hope you will have fun as you learn to drive.

For drivers who have passed their test I offer Pass Plus courses of 6 hours or more. If you have not driven for long time you can book a refresher lesson. International licence holders can book lessons in order to take the UK test.
