Established in 1946 by the late Mr A Erskine, a De-Mobbed RAF RADAR Operator, he set up his first shop on Mosley Street Manchester adjacent to British Rails "CENTRAL" Station (Now the GMEX Exhibition centre). Hence "CENTRAL RADIO".

Due to redevelopment and our need to expand we relocated to our present site in Shudehill in June 1980.

Our aim is to provide customers with quality products at competitive prices, with a full warranty.

We are a member of RETRA (Radio Electrical & Television Retailers Association) who have a strict code of practice, To ensure you of a fair deal. For that extra peace of mind optional extended warranties are available. Should something go wrong our in house service department will look after your equipment, both in and out of warranty.
