Legal 500 guide recommends Geoffrey Leaver
THE longest established law firm in Milton Keynes has continued its expansion programme.
Geoffrey Leaver Solicitors is acquiring more office space next to its head office in Bouverie Square, Central Milton Keynes.
This is the second additional building taken in the last 18 months, in which the firm has seen its square footage increase by 77pc to accommodate its rapidly expanding business.
Geoffrey Leaver is also delighted with an increase in turnover of 48.2pc, following growth exceeding 20% per year for the previous years.
Willen Wheelers raise funds for local charity
Richard Willis, Partner and Head of Property at Geoffrey Leaver has just taken part in the Extra Mile Challenge. This is a well known cycle challenge organised in Milton Keynes and this year it went through parts of Belgium, France, Luxembourg and Germany raising funds for local charities.
As a Trustee of Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes, Richard and the Willen Wheelers team were keen to raise some significant funds for the Hospice and are well on the way to doing this. Each year the Hospice relies on donated funds in the order of £2.5 million
Richard and Shiela Kemble, both Trustees along with John and Pam Duggan completed the 500 mile challenge in some very hilly but very beautiful parts of the Semoy Valley and the Forest of Ardennes and now have a target to raise £10,000. 1/3 of this goes to the charities nominated by Extra Mile Challenge and 2/3 to charities nominated by the teams which for us is of course Willen Hospice.
