Empty Bellies is Chesterfield's Premier Sandwich Bar and was founded in 2006 by Ashley and Gaynor Cartledge. Based on Newbold road in Chesterfield (next to blockbuster express) we pride ourselves on serving good quality, fresh food all of which is prepared and served with a warm, friendly welcome to ensure you will keep coming back for more!!

We have a daily specials board with a wide selection to choose from to suit everyone’s taste’s,

Open Monday - Friday 8am - 3pm and Saturdays 8am -1pm

We serve breakfast sandwiches all day long and have a varied breakfast menu to choose from.

We deliver to all area’s of Chesterfield. So if you don't want to leave the office, need a working lunch or just want good quality food to take out into the sunshine, then we can help.
Delivery carries a minimum order of £5.00 please order early to avoid disappointment with deliveries, all orders must be in by 11am at the latest due to ever expanding delivery round.

We have a fantastic outside catering service providing food for all types of people ranging from big corporate events and offices to local day nurseries price for our buffet menu start from as little as £3.50 per head .

Whatever the occasion EMPTY BELLIES can provide a cake to celebrate with designed by our chef Ashley Cartledge using his creative twist and flair, we guarantee that your cake will be out of this world leaving you speechless ( the last customer cried with joy when she saw her daughter’s 18th birthday cake) Also at EMPTY BELLIES because all of our sponge is handmade we can 100% guarantee that no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives go into the finished product only lovely tasting ingredients and a lot of love and care!!

Also as all our cakes are handmade there will never be 2 cakes the same so you can rest assured that your cake will be an original never to be repeated, If you have your own design bring it in and we will do our very best to create your idea
