Dales and Peaks was formed in 2006 by Sarah and John Currey. Sarah worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland for the last 25 years and has seen her career progress to senior management. Her career started in the Chesterfield branch in the early 80’s. Whilst undertaking her Chartered Institute of Banking examinations she was moved to the Sheffield branch as a senior clerk.

Her first managerial appointment was in 1993 , when she was given her own branch to manage at Darley Dale. She was responsible for bringing in many new and existing businesses to the branch and indeed instrumental in their growth. One such business is now perhaps the biggest company in Chesterfield and indeed nationally known.

Sarah was promoted in 1998 to Business Development Manager for Derby and High Peak. She was mainly responsible for providing bespoke funding packages to the business sector. Following a very successful 2 years she was then appointed as a Senior Area Business Manager for Derbyshire with the responsibility of managing and coaching a team of 17 business managers.

Having spent time at many different locations over the years, within the Sheffield, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire area, she has built up many contacts with property developers, estate agents and financial intermediaries. All of which she feels will add significant value to the business of Dales and Peaks.

The business is split into several areas, but the core business is residential lettings and property management. However we intend to provide a full service for the investor landlords from sourcing the right property through from purchase either to let or sale. The business itself will be unique in that it will provide a full commercial finance service as well which will cover all sectors.
