About the Hotel:
The Milton is a traditional Scottish Edwardian house built in 1912. It has been tastefully refurbished to give modern comfort while keeping the Edwardian features. The house stands in its own grounds and has lovely views across the Tay to Fife. So, if you want a warm Scottish welcome, delicious freshly prepared meals, exceptionally good wines and much, much more, come to our “Country House in the Town”.

Surrounding Area:
The Milton is ideally situated for keen golfers being close to Monifieth, St. Andrews, Carnoustie, Forfar, Downfield and Gleneagles Golf Courses as well as many more less well known but superb courses. Hill walkers can enjoy the hills and valleys of Perthshire and Angus. Glamis Castle and Balmoral are within easy travelling distance. It is also well situated for enjoying the wonderful beaches of the North East coast of Scotland and the scenery of the East Neuk of Fife.

The cosy wood-panelled dining room welcomes diners to delicious meals all prepared in our own kitchens. The steak pie served at the traditional Scottish High Tea has to be ordered when the table is booked it is so popular! The Gun Room is available for small private parties as is another part of the dining room which can be partitioned off to allow privacy. We can cater for Christenings, Birthdays, Small Weddings, etc.
