About Us

Treasure Trails is the UK's leading treasure hunt company and was founded in Cornwall in 2005 with the aim of getting people out and about exploring their local area for days out in a fun, healthy, and educational way. Steve Ridd realised that we are all surrounded by the most stunning scenery and architecture, but we often fail to notice it when it’s right in front of our faces. He created Treasure Trails to really bring the landscape and its stories alive for local people and tourists who enjoy spending time together in the fresh air, whilst solving a fun mystery.

If you are looking for a fun and exciting way to explore days out, a Treasure Trail is a fantastic activity to do in the York & Humber region to help you see the sights. There are currently 18 Trails which encompass the huge variety that makes up the York & Humber region including:

With 15 walking Trails, 2 driving Trails, and a cycling Trail, your biggest problem will be choosing which one to do!
