Harmony House was a central part of village life having been a reading room, Sunday school and the rear, a former village post office. It bears the characteristics of the old property, with part of it dating back to the 17th century. It has however been renovated to accommodate a modern day lifestyle. We have been awarded 4 stars from Quality in Tourism standards inspection.

Harmony House is situated in Stillingfleet, a short drive to the south of York, overlooking the village Green.

It is ideally suited for business and holiday guests alike being close York's centre, attractions and racecourse, yet tucked away in peaceful country surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of everyday living.

Harmony House offers bed and breakfast or self-catering accommodation in the cottage annex. The house has been awarded a 4 star silver award rating from Quality in Tourism.

Stillingfleet is within easy reach of all motorways and trunk roads connecting to North York Moors, Dales, East Coast, West Yorkshire and beyond.......

In Stillingfleet itself there is a Norman Church, pleasant countryside walks and an award winning nursery and Garden at Stillingfleet Lodge which is open on specific afternoons in the summer for a visit and a cup of tea.

McArthur Glen designer outlet is nearby with park and ride facilities into York. There are also several golf courses, fishing ponds and riding schools locally with the Trans-Pennine cycleway nearby.
