Police appeal to trace sat nav theft victim
POLICE at Bournville Lane are appealing for the victim of a sat nav theft to come forward and contact them.
The incident occured at 10.15am Thursday 28 May in Bristol Road South at the junction of Tessell Lane, Birmingham.
Police were flagged down by a man saying he had just had his sat nav system stolen from his van. He chased the offender and the sat nav was dropped and then recovered.
The victim left the scene before giving his details to police.
A 26-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of theft and is currently on police bail while enquiries take place.
Police would like the victim to come forward and give a statement. he was white, in his 30s and was bald.
