The London Boroughs of Wandsworth and Richmond upon Thames
Community Contraceptive and Sexual Health (C-CASH) Service
“Meet the Buyer Event”
11th August 2015
2 PM to 5 PM
Transformation House, 58 St John’s Hill, Clapham, SW11 2AA
The London Boroughs of Wandsworth and Richmond Upon Thames are holding a “Meet the Buyer Event” for its forthcoming Community Contraceptive and Sexual Health (C-CASH) Services Tender.
It is envisaged that this new service will consist of contraceptive (also known as Reproductive Sexual Health or Family Planning Clinics) services, testing and treatment of non-complex STIs, implementation and coordination of the National Chlamydia Screening Programme. Additional requirements will also include training provision, sexual health network coordination as well as preventive outreach to hard-to-reach groups.
Who can attend?
This event is open to any providers who have an interest in delivering Community Contraceptive and Sexual Health (C-CASH) Services described above.
What will it involve?
The event will include presentations from Wandsworth and Richmond Borough Council commissioners detailing the services being commissioned and the procurement process involved. This event will be an opportunity for service providers to discuss the vision for Community Contraceptive and Sexual Health (CASH) Services and to ask questions about the scope of the Services, procurement process and to provide comments to both Councils on the delivery of the service.
The Councils welcome smaller provider expertise to form partnerships with Clinical Services under a lead provider model to meet service specification. This event will be an opportunity to network with other potential providers.
There will also be the opportunity to meet with commissioners.
The aims of the event are to:
· Improve providers’ understanding of the service requirement and the procurement process;
· Facilitate the potential development of the market place and the opportunity to meet other providers.
To register for this event, providers will need to register via the e-sourcing portal:
Providers must register on the site to respond, although those already registered will not need to register again and will be able to use their existing user name and password. Please note there is a password reminder on the link to the home page.
Providers must log in, go to Response Manager and add the following Access Code 75JG8VZX53. Providers should then follow the on-screen instructions.
A service overview of the potential scope of the service can be downloaded from the e-sourcing portal.
To register for the event use the e-mail facility stating the name and numbers of attendees, limited to a maximum of 3 per organisation. Details of attendees must be submitted by no later than 10th August 2015. 00000
To facilitate the formation of partnerships and consortia, we aim to circulate a list of contact details and names of the organisations who have expressed an interest in attending the MTBE. This will be circulated on or after the 11th August 2015 and so if your organisation does not wish to be included in this list, please state so when you submit your registration details.
If providers have any questions surrounding the provision of these Services then these should also be submitted via the Delta Sourcing Portal by 12:00 noon (10th August 2015). The Council will then aim to answer these questions before or at the Meet the Buyer Event.
