Yarm Parking Proposals

• Congestion at busy times and a high demand for parking spaces has been a long running problem for Yarm High Street.
  
  We would like to introduce changes that will improve the congestion and parking problems.  Our ongoing consultation has several key messages that people have told us they would like to be considered:

  • More spaces reserved for residents who live in Yarm Town Centre.
  • Improved commuter parking, for those who need to be town all day.
  • More flexible durations for short stay parking, for popping to the bank or bakery or for longer shopping and business trips.
