THE new café in Billingham's John Whitehead Park, is the perfect place for people, and their four legged friends, to have a snack.

Humans and pooches can enjoy a drink and nibbles thanks to a new menu that will get mouths watering and tails wagging.

Café Tees catering provide a menu of traditional fayre ranging from toasted sandwiches, soup and jacket potatoes, as well as teacakes and scones.

At the same time, dogs can cool down with a bowl of water and complementary dog biscuit!

The café is open every day from 10am - 6pm during the summer and 10 - 4pm in winter.

Councillor Mary Womphrey, Stockton Council's Cabinet Member for Arts, Leisure and Culture, said: "The new café is the perfect place for any person walking their dog through the Park to stop off and have a drink and bite to eat - and of course their canine companions are not forgotten!"
