With its five main Leisure Facilities covering just about every type of activity from aerobics to yoga, football to fitness classes and swimming to climbing, you are sure to find what you are looking for. If water sports are more your style there is a wide range of activities to take part in at one of the three main centres in the borough.

There are eleven community libraries throughout the borough that, along with the tradition services associated with the library, also provide free access to computer facilities and the internet.

The Open Technology Centre, in the Central Library in Stockton, also provides free computing facilities. The Central Library itself houses the Reference Library with its extensive collection of Local History information and images.

Your cultural needs are further catered for with the Preston Hall Museum set in the rolling acres of Preston Park at Eaglescliffe Billingham Art Gallery in the town centre of Billingham, provides local artists with a showcase for their art and crafts as well as holding workshops for those wishing to develop their own talents

Film buffs have a choice of 14 screens at the Showcase Cinema on Teesside Retail Park and Leisure Complex and for those who are still looking for something to do, the borough has a varied selection of restaurants, bars and nightspots catering for all tastes, from the party animal to the discerning diner.
