Mechanical Design Architect - Role Info
My client is looking for a Mechanical Design Architect who will be responsible for defining the optimum mechanical architecture for all variants of the clients products, which are primarily Missile Systems and other munitions based products. The Mechanical Design Architect will be responsible for an internal budget of 2MEU to 3MEU a year and external budgets of 0.5MEU to 1MEU a year and have two or 3 direct reports.
Duties include:
- Project task packages are managed to time, cost, quality, and performance constraints.
- Successful achievement of project and team milestones.
- Manage customer expectations throughout the development process.
- Responsible for managing the workload, planning for and identifying future resource needs.
- To act as the focus for all missile mechanical integration issues and NCR investigations.
