Cricket in the Park: 10 & 11 July
Stumped for something to do this summer...?
On the 10 and 11 July between 10am-7pm everyone is invited to Hoglands Park in Southampton city centre to a FREE festival of cricket featuring npower Ashes Series action via a giant screen and much much more!
You can experience every wicket, run, throw, catch and nail biting moments, along with thousands of other fans, as the action is beamed out on a giant screen in the park.
The npower Cricket in the Park event will bring the excitment of live cricket to all fans and families providing an opportunity for everyone in Southampton to watch world-class cricket on the big screen in a fun and lively atmosphere from the comfort of a picnic blanket!
Throughout the Summer, npower Cricket in the Park events will create a carnival of cricket across the country for those who haven't managed to grab a highly coveted npower Ashes ticket. npower Cricket in the Park has chosen Southampton as part of five venues across England to provide a community crowd in a family friendly arena.

The event will also have a whole host of other activities going on so there will be something to keep all the family amused. For budding cricket stars and wannabe Freddie Flintoffs and Charlotte Edwards, the Sky Sports Coaching Zone at the Cricket in the Park event will provide cricketers and newcomers with the chance to see their actions on screen, get qualified coaching tips on how to improve play and compare cricketing skills against professional players.
Fancy dress competitions, interactive cricket games and special player appearances in the Buxton Kids Zone will be part of some of the exciting activities planned that are guaranteed to make Cricket in the Park one of the 'must do' events of the summer.
