Serving up some badminton fun

A new scheme offering hassle-free badminton has been launched in Solihull's leisure centres this week.

No Strings Badminton will run in both Tudor Grange and North Solihull leisure centres and aims to make it easier to enjoy the sport and its social side by letting you just turn up and play.

The sessions will be at Tudor Grange on Mondays from 7pm-7.55pm and at North Solihull leisure centre from 6pm-6.55pm

There will be no need to book ahead or commit to regular sessions and sessions are priced at £3 per player, per session.

All equipment will be provided and there is not even a need to bring a partner - part of the fun will be to make new friends by playing against them.

On top of that, each player will be affiliated to Badminton England free of charge and a badminton co-ordinator will be hand to give advice and game tips.
