Solihull Council is reminding residents that garden waste collections have now started.
Unfortunately, a problem with the distribution company delivering the collection calendars has meant that some residents have not yet received their calendars. The Council apologises to residents on behalf of the distribution company, who are working to put this right. Anyone who hasn't received their calendar will have one delivered as soon as possible.
In the meantime, residents can find out when their green wheelie bin is due for collection by visiting the Council's website at: www.solihull.gov.uk/refuse/rounds08.asp and looking up their street name or postcode. Once residents have found their address, they will be able to see the day of the week that their normal rubbish is collected and then click through to find details about their recycling collections including garden waste.
Alternatively, people can email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0121 704 8000.
The Council collects residents' green wheelie bins every fortnight, on the same day as their normal rubbish collection.
